Anakin Skywalker was the most gifted pilot in the galaxy, and nobody taught him what to do with it. Capability arrived years ahead of judgment, and everything that followed came out of that gap. This first episode lays out the analogy at the center of the book: we are building systems of enormous capability and thin wisdom, and standing at the same fork the Jedi walked up to and misread.
